A three-year fixed-term postdoc position is available at the Institute of Marine Research as part of the EU Horizon 2020 funded project MISSION ATLANTIC.

This exciting role will investigate habitat ecology, benthic fauna, and predictive spatial modelling of benthic communities, including the integration of benthic communities and functional traits in ecosystem models and integrated ecosystem assessment for the Norwegian Sea. Experience with habitat description, and spatial analyses, and modelling of benthic communities, and environmental variables are required. This role will include offshore fieldwork in the Norweigan national seabed mapping project, MAREANO.

The position will be located in Bergen, as part of the Benthic Communities research group at IMR.
