Mission Atlantic and AtlantECO Project joined forces with FAPESP PROASA Young Investigator programme to identify oceanographic research gaps in Sao Paolo (BR) capacities, and put together an international team to support best candidates.

The PROASA Young Investigator Grants are well endowed 5 year grants, including resources for Post-Docs and PhDs. The aim is to build a new group on emerging challenges.

The experiment is appreciated by FAPESP PROASA, and AllAtlantic CLUSTER will apply the approach systematically in the next 2 years as means of extending the legacy and efforts of HorizonEU Mission Ocean projects on marine research.
