Recordings from the All-Atlantic Integrated Ecosystem Assessment (IEA) Symposium, held on 17–18 November 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, are now available to watch online.

The symposium brought together researchers, practitioners, and policy-relevant experts to reflect on the evolution of Integrated Ecosystem Assessments (IEAs), examine current challenges, and explore future directions for their development and application across the Atlantic.

The event was organised around four thematic sessions:

  • Historic perspectives on IEAs and lessons from past implementation
  • Future opportunities and challenges for IEAs
  • Future opportunities and challenges from an Ecosystem-Based Fisheries Model perspective
  • Operational tools and what they tell us about engaging end-users

Across these sessions, speakers shared insights on scientific progress, operational tools, and the practical use of IEAs in supporting ecosystem-based management and sustainable ocean governance.

A full compilation of session recordings is now available via the Mission Atlantic YouTube channel:
